good morning everybody!it's my honor to speak here,and i am very glad to share my topic with you. then today i'd like to talk something about which is more important, time or money. some people often say:“money is more important than time.”they think that if people have money. they can buy clothes, foods, drinks, houses, cars, computers and so o n. but l don’t think so. because when time is gone we can't get it back. but we can keep on making more money. we can use time to get money. however we can’t use money to get time. lost wealth maybe replaced by industry. lost knowledge by study. lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone for ever. i cannot afford to waste my time making money. so i think time is more important than money. we must make full use of our time to study and work. each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique.

students, do you love life? then do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of. life is long if you know how to use it. so let's save our time.

i’m sure, you can!

remember when you were a little child trying to learn to work ? first you had to learn to stand. a proceinvolving constantly failing down, and then getting back up. sometimes you laughed and sometimes you cried. somehow there was always determination and conviction that you would succeed, no matter what.after much practice you finally figured out how to stand.

now the next step is walking by yourself. you’ve seen others do it. it didn’t look that hard, you just move your legs while you were standing. wrong. it’s more complex than you ever imagined. but you tried ,again and again and again until you figured it out. at last you can do it very well.

if only we could remember this about ourselves in today’s world.

learning english is just like learning to walk. if we try it again and again, practice it again and again until you can get it, please remember how we learnt to walk . remember that we can learn english the same way. step by step .remember that we can do anything we set our minds to if we are willing to go through the process, just like when we learnt to walk. we don’t need to wait for others to encourage us, we need to encourage ourselves.

now you need to believe in yourself. remember ,today is the best day of your life, because yesterday never was and tomorrow will never be. so if you want to do something, you should just do it. sure, you can!

i say to yevery one has his own dream.when i was a little kid ,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .but now ,when i am 16 years old ,standing here ,my dreams have already changed a lot.

李阳老师在四五年前曾经说过，“二十一世纪将是中国人用中文汉字和中国语法折磨外国人的时代！”果然这个时代来到了！教外国人中文充满着快感！因为，一个汉字外国人要学一个星期。而且，我每次上课的时候，外国人都说：李老师，这节课教几幅画？他们把一个汉字叫一幅画。他们说：李老师，你能不能多教一点像“王”这样的画，少教一点像“勤奋”的“勤”这样的画。我们教外国人讲中文必须先学三句话：第一句：我爱北京天安门。

（轰堂大笑，鼓掌）第二句:没有共产党就没有新中国。（鼓掌）第三句是外国人最喜欢的：发展才是硬道理。所以我教的外国人特别爱国，我对他们进行了爱国主义教育。所以说，你是疯狂英语的学生吗？他说是！那你最擅长什么？我爱北京天安门。而且，我们在美国也出了很多选择题，害美国人：小王＿走了进来。ａ．蹦蹦跳跳ｂ．跳跳蹦蹦ｃ．蹦跳蹦跳ｄ．跳蹦跳蹦，外国人几乎没有选对的！还有一道题难一点，是听力考试。我看大家的听力好不好啊！来测验一下大家的普通话听力到底怎么样。开始了！（模仿英语听力考试）：中文水平听力考试。第一道题：嘟－－－小明跟小张正在谈论小王，小王突然破门而入，小明对小张说，说曹操，曹操就到。问题一：门破了吗？问题二：选择题ａ．小明到了ｂ．小张到了ｃ．小王到了ｄ.曹操到了。几乎所有的外国人都选择d-“曹操到了”。外国人还说：你们中国人出题真愚蠢，这么简单的题，还考我们美国人。他们说：明明说了“说曹操，曹操就到”还问我谁到了。

现在全世界都掀起了中文学习潮流，告诉大家一个好消息：美国已经有三千多所学校开设了中文课程了，韩国学中文的人数已经超过了学英语的人数!为我们伟大的祖国鼓一下掌！但是我告诉大家，你的英文不好，也没法去教中文。学好英文，为了向全世界传播中文。是不是大家又多了一个动力。我给在坐的所有同学找动力。有的同学说了：王老师，我实在没有动力，我早上起床也起不来，我9点钟才醒过来，中午一睡就睡到3点才起床。仔细听！你们现在就必须注入的动力：第一个动力，为了你个人的前途；第二个动力，为了整个中华民族、为了中国的前途。第三个动力，为了向全世界传播中文，为了在全亚洲普及中文和英文。

what’s the most important thing in life？. good morning! dear teachers and fellow students. it’s my great honor to be here to share my view with you. today my topic is: what’s the most important thing in life.

have you thought about the question? i often thought about it when i was a little boy. i’m an easygoing boy .so i have a lot of friends. i think friendship is the most important thing in life .if i have no friends, i will be very sad. my friends will listen to me when i speak, will wipe eyes when i cry, will take care of me when i am ill, and they will be with me when i am in trouble. as the saying goes:“a friend in need is a friend indeed. ”

as students, we can share more time with our friends. the friendship in our young hearts is pure , fresh and simple. i often feel lucky to have a lot of good friends, especially my first english teacher, mr zhang. he was a young man with a big smile on his face, and he always used his special ways to make the class active and attractive. he taught us english by telling stories, playing games, singing songs and even dancing. it was so moving and unforgetable.i will keep these in my heart forever.

it’s true that friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. it’sreally like a bottle of wine, the longer it’s kept, the sweeter it’ll be. it’s also like a cup of tea. when we are thirsty, it will be our best1

choice. when we stay with our friends, we can relax ourselves completely. we can do whatever we want .we can laugh together, talk together and even cry together. we can encourage each other and help each other .
